We think we are so far from cool we cant even google map it.

But, we are proud of the fact that we are both a great bar AND a live music venue. Some of our Grizzly Bar Happy Hours (5-8) rival our best shows in terms of entertainment. You just have to be there to know what Im saying. Our new drink menu for 2008 will make a single bloody tear run down your face. Cocktails by the fire or herkies on the outside stage, its all good at 912 Red River.

We know that already by their unrelenting and tireless efforts to report on whiskeys, drink mixes, and live music. They threw a Stooges show in Austin. They have some writers over there that know a bit about our town and about music today. So, with a pair of clinkers, a pipe, a shotgun, and a stick of slimjim, we respectfully nod our head (while looking over the top of our ray ban yellow shooters) in thanks to the rag that has the foresight to understand what we are trying to do here.

We love that music venues are being recognized, but we are a little scared of the fact that we are ranked next to a place called Club Duece in Miami Beach (respek). No offense, but it sounds like a great place to read a paper on the can and grind one out. Which is precisely why its my first stop next time I'm over there.
